PRAYER SERVICE / EMBALMING
PROCESS OF EMBALMING
The process of embalming services starts with preparing the body. Since its a surgical process, the body is first disinfected. Then the limbs are massaged to relieve the stiffness. Following this, the two mains steps of embalming are performed – setting the facial features and the process of arterial or cavity embalming.
Arterial embalming involves removing the blood through veins and then replacing it with the embalming solution. On the other hand, in cavity embalming services, a small incision is made in the lower abdomen of the body to drain the gas and fluid content of the body. It is then replaced with formaldehyde-based chemical mixtures.
The embalming services are highly surgical and involve a lot of planning and resources. Since it is highly technical, one should go with only experienced services. Our team assures you of the best of services.

FAQ
How do they embalm a dead body?
In the modern procedure of embalming, the blood is drained from one of the veins and replaced by a fluid, usually based on Formalin (a solution of formaldehyde in water), injected into one of the main arteries. Cavity fluid is removed with a long hollow needle called a trocar and replaced with preservative.
How long does a body last after embalming?
Some people think that embalming completely stops the decay of the body, but this isn’t true. If you plan on having an open-casket funeral, then you should not leave the embalmed body out for more than a week. Otherwise, the embalmed body can last two more weeks.
What happens to a dead body after embalming?
By 50 years in, your tissues will have liquefied and disappeared, leaving behind mummified skin and tendons. Eventually these too will disintegrate, and after 80 years in that coffin, your bones will crack as the soft collagen inside them deteriorates, leaving nothing but the brittle mineral frame behind.
